Jillian Foster Knight has taken mythology as an inspiration for her work, putting her own spin on classic myths for her poetry. She delves deep into women's stories from Greek, Celtic, and Norse cultures. Mythology is the story of human history- life lessons.

Knight specializes in myths, but also creates art books. Tom Baugh, poetry editor from Rapid River Magazine states, "…I have never before reviewed a book that was art." Along with the ReWritten trilogy, she has penned and created Another Sense and A Little Dirty.

Her poems have appeared in over thirty different publications through out the continent.

Many authors have been fascinated with the stories of mythology, but none have written with such an intense intimacy. Her tale is not similar to the thousands of wannabes who write endless lines of prose while awaiting their big break. Her passion for writing and mythology has lifted her to a higher level where she publishes her work with self-taught book binding skills using canvas, and various heavy weight papers, and an old book press. Knight's books are finished with an unequaled quality. Each book features art by selected artists and photographs by the author.
